What makes Bubba’s BBQ exceptional? Allow me to take you through some highlights. Customers rave about the meat platters—a carnivore’s dream that includes brisket which is flawlessly cooked, jalapeño cheddar sausages that deliver a burst of flavor, and ribs that are tender and packed with taste. One customer, Ned I., exuberantly described Bubba’s as offering “the best meat platter” he has had among ten BBQ spots in Michigan. The pulled pork receives high praise for its moisture and taste, ensuring that every bite is a celebration of flavors.
But Bubba’s is not just about the meat; the side dishes complement the BBQ experience exquisitely. The baked beans are sweet and savory, while the cornbread is precisely prepared, achieving that perfect mix of crumbly and moist. You can’t forget the creamy mac n cheese—which features a surprising kick that tantalizes the palate! Each platter at Bubba’s is completed with a choice of three distinct sauces: Texas pepper, sweet smoke, and honey mustard, with the sweet smoke being a crowd favorite.
A standout offering is the pulled pork all-you-can-eat buffet, delighting patrons at local events like the one at Right Brain Brewery in Traverse City, where Brandon M. enthused about the delicious interplay of flavors and the exceptional value.
In a world where barbecue can often just be a marketing gimmick, Bubba's BBQ & Catering proves that it’s about quality, flavor, and a little bit of heart. If you haven’t had the pleasure of tasting their dishes yet, it’s clear from every review and mouth-watering description that this is a culinary experience you won’t want to miss. So grab a plate, gather your friends, and dive into what true BBQ is all about—Bubba’s is a must-try!

I've had Bubba's twice, and I was blown away each time. The first time was for a Veteran's Day pig roast Bubba's hosted with K-Block's. The cuts of meat I had from the pig were to die for. The second time, I went to Copper Hop Brewing Co. a day "The Beast" (Bubba's food trailer) was scheduled. I've been to 10 BBQ establishments in Michigan so far, and none of them had a better meat platter than Bubba's. The brisket looked and tasted exactly like it's supposed to. Both the jalapeño cheddar and "frito pie" sausages were top tier. The frito pie sausage is, unfortunately, not a regular menu item. The ribs were flavorful and meaty. The pulled pork was moist and tasty. Even the sides, baked beans, coleslaw, cornbread, and mac n cheese, were good. Of those 4, I preferred the beans and cornbread. The platter came with 3 sauces, Texas pepper, sweet smoke, and honey mustard. The sweet smoke was my favorite. If you haven't gotten the hint by now, Bubba's is a must try.

I enjoyed their pulled pork all you can eat buffet at Right Brain Brewery in Traverse City. The Mac and Cheese had a little kick, the beans were sweet and the cornbread was prepared perfectly. The price was also on point. I would recommend.
